Soda pop

Today is the deadline for SODA 2007 submissions. Oddly, I am looking forward to going to the PC website and looking at an overwhelmingly large list of submissions. I may be irked by some of them, by I know there will be several submissions I will like very much, and I will end up learning a lot of new problems, techniques, and insights, some puzzles and some savory distractions (recall Hitchhock-esque Overhang from SODA06).
