Election, Economics and The Homeless

Winter is setting in, the Homeless will try to find nooks and subway vents or simply submerge to the tunnels and may not be visible before the elections. For now, they have cardboard messages.

Wall Street Journal sometimes shines. Their recent review referred to this hefty tome of a biography of Warren Buffett titled The Snowball by Alice Schroder as "Warren Peace".

In a meeting where US and Europe advertising folks came to brainstorm, I watched someone riff and accuse US of being directed by Economists, and Hal Varian retort, "What an enlightened country!". Plus one for me.
