Norbert Wiener had an incredible math career centered in Boston and meandering into and mostly out of math for military with his letter A Scientist Rebels. Assaf, centered in NY, is giving the Norbert Wiener lectures in Mathematics at MIT in a few weeks, a triptych of talks on Banach spaces and applications to partitioning problems.
