Rejection

Rejection is part of life. Moma rejects Andy Warhol in a polite letter on the left, circa 1956. We have anecdotes of rejected conf papers that have come back to knock out our collective psyche. Curiously, the two examples I know are the papers in compression: Lempel-Ziv and Burrows-Wheeler.
