Thoughts on the World

On the left, Met does a superb exhibition on art that was unfinished (yet signed by the artist). It is at the old Whitney space, and this is Met's show, so walk in and see unfinished Rembrandt, Klimt, Van Gogh, ...  Btw, I walked the city, saying hi to every African American and every Police person. Life is like that.

And the world needs humor, here are my two favorite NYer cartoons. The one on the right is a puzzle, as most NYer cartoons are.

I like the sharp writing & execution of Key & Peele on the left, and on the right is an Indian duo with their comedy.

Nominating Differential Privacy

Cynthia Dwork and some of the other researchers in Differential Privacy seem to be in Cambridge, UK, this week and it is time the differential privacy work (loosely described) gets Godel or Kanellakis or both (eg., after Apple's announcement using it in iOS10).
